six (6) members present in person, two of which must be officers. The majority of the quorum present must concur for action. The President shall vote only to break a tie.

Section 7.

Any officer or Director shall be subject to recall by the signature of twenty percent (20%) of the members of the Association presented to the Secretary. A two-thirds (2/3) vote of the members present at a general meeting shall expel any officer or Director from office.

Section 8.

Any officer (President, Vice-President, Secretary, or Treasurer) who misses three (3) general meetings within a single term of office may be asked to resign from the Board upon recommendation by the Board.

Section 9.

Any officer or Director who misses three (3) Board meetings within a calendar year may be asked to resign from the Board by the President upon recommendation by the Board.

      

Article IV:  ELECTIONS

Section 1.

A member must be of legal age (18) to run for a position on the Board of Directors.

Section 2.

Nominations will be limited to members in good standing (dues paid) and they will be closed by the President at the October general meeting.

Section 3.

Ballots will be issued to members in the November newsletter, and they will be validated and counted at the November general meeting. Election results will be announced during the November general meeting. Newly elected officers and Directors will become effective on December 1.

 

 

 Article V:  EXPENDITURES

Section 1.

The Board of Directors must approve expenditures by any member over $50.00.

Section 2.

The general membership must approve expenditures proposed by the Board over $250.00.

Section 3.

The Board of Directors must pre-approve any expenditure by an Association member before reimbursement is made.
